About Us

Nestling in picturesque farmland just off the A21, Little Dunks Livery Yard has offered a friendly, efficient and attentive livery service since 2008.  The owner Marianne Cox has been surrounded by horses all her life, first in her native Norway and then in her adoptive home of Kent.

This family run yard is a real gem in the equine world of West Kent, easily accessible from Tunbridge Wells and Tonbridge, as well as the many satellite villages such as Pembury, Brenchley, Matfield and Lamberhurst.

Little Dunks’s unique characteristics include its own flock of sheep (the lambing season is a highlight in the calendar) and a large brood of chickens which keep Marianne and her clients well supplied with delicious free-range eggs.

But at the heart of everything, of course, are the horses and ponies. At Little Dunks we go that extra mile to make clients feel at home and to ensure that every horse and pony in our care is looked after as if it were one of our own.

Marianne lives on site, and her team is always on hand to offer help, support and advice. Whether you need assistance with veterinary matters, farrier services, schooling, or any issues that affect you and your equine we’ll do everything we can to help.

​

A very friendly community has developed in this quiet enclave, which comprises the Livery Yard, the neighbouring Little Dunks Farm and several residents who live in the converted barns and oast-houses dotted around the gentle hillside site.  Beautiful views across the Weald are an added bonus .
